Point the Way Foundation Volunteers Make Battalion Buddies for Military Children

In honor of April being Month of the Military Child, Point the Way Foundation stuffed Battalion Buddy bears for children of deployed soldiers. Battalion Buddies are special bears given to a military child whose parent is deploying. It gives them something tangible and real to hold on to while their loved one is away. According to our partner on this project, Operation Gratitude, the bears have become a simple, yet powerful tool of support for thousands of military families. bears1 If you’d like to learn more about Battalion Buddy bears, please visit Operation Gratitude.
