May is National Military Appreciation Month
May 9, 2016
Officially designated by Congress for the month of May, National Military Appreciation Month helps celebrate the history of our armed services, as well as recognize and thank our incredible military’s many achievements. This important month honors, remembers, recognizes and appreciates all military personnel; those men and women who have served throughout our history and all who now serve in uniform and their families. It also recognizes those Americans who have given their lives in defense of the freedoms we all enjoy today.
National Military Appreciation Month includes:
Loyalty Day (May 1st)
Military Spouse Appreciation Day (May 6th)
VE Day(May 8th)
Armed Forces Day (May 21st)
Memorial Day (May 30th)
While Point the Way Foundation focuses on our military men, women and children year round, our organization would like to take a special moment this month to recognize those on active duty in all branches of the services, the National Guard and Reserves plus retirees, veterans, and all of their families. To this exclusive group of more than 90 million Americans, we THANK YOU!
Don’t forget your donations to Point the Way go toward supporting members of our Armed Forces. With contributions to powerful organizations like STEPS, We Heart Vets, The Wingmen Foundation and more, Point the Way Foundation strives to provide assistance to a variety of non-profits that make a difference in the lives of our military families.
Join us in thanking our military men and women. Make a donation TODAY!
