While our scholarship is both needs and merit based (e.g., academic performance, community service, extra-curricular participation, etc.), the ideal applicant demonstrates an all-around effort to improve his or her life, as well as the lives of others, often overcoming obstacles to do so.

DISCLAIMER All applications will be considered and issued on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. Applicants should receive communication regarding their application within 8 weeks time. Applications and accompanying materials are submitted for the sole purposes of Point the Way’s consideration in awarding scholarships and, therefore, will not be returned to Applicant. Scholarship amounts will vary and will not exceed ($5,000). The selection of any scholarship recipient will be exclusively at the discretion of Point the Way. Point the Way reserves the right to modify or discontinue this scholarship program at any time without notice. There is no deadline for students to submit an application. Students may only apply once during a one-year timeframe and may then apply again. Point the Way Foundation scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply a second time.
